Wallet.Services Proves Working Blockchain Example
I had the pleasure to chat to some of the team at Scottish Blockchain company Wallet.Services today. They have what is very rare at this moment in time.
An actual example of a working Blockchain product called SICCAR. The solution applies BlockChain to provide safety with convenience for joined-up government services.which is helping the Scottish Government with licencing applications.
- Wallet.Services SICCAR simplifies and secures digital life – its about digital-first, paper-free sharing of sensitive data in government processes.
- We’ve applied BlockChain governance to the flow of data between citizen government, and business. We address the cross-organisation collaboration which create paper, over-expose sensitive personal details and ultimately create inefficiency.
- Our view is that chains will proliferate as the technology becomes a mainstream for governance of value, data and as an approach to cybersecurity. Our core technology platform is about simplifying development and delivery of real-world applications cross-BlockChain. Our approach is acknowledged by Scottish Government who partnered with us on our SICCAR solution, which is now a finalist on CitiBank’s global Technology for Integrity Challenge, and our PaaS is on the UK government Cabinet Office GCloud framework for 17/18.
The Wallet.Services team are all highly focused on industry and government areas for their Blockchain use; areas which others seem to be ignoring (at their peril) in preference for more corporate facing commercial use.
Below is a short introduction video on Wallet.Services Platform
This is definitely one company the Industry wants to keep an eye on as it will, without doubt, become something of a major player in the Blockchain arena in the future.
